Privacy Policy

Short version: Tiny Trumpets doesn't collect your data. Your wins, notes and certificate photos stay on your iPhone. No account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Who we are

Tiny Trumpets is made by James Beyersdorf (Beyersdorf Apps). In this policy, "we" means James Beyersdorf.

What the app stores, and where

The wins, categories, notes and certificate titles you log, and any photo you put on a certificate, are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. We never receive them. They're included in your device backups under your own Apple settings. Deleting the app deletes them.

Permissions

Tiny Trumpets asks for a permission only when you use a feature that needs it:

• Camera: only if you tap Take Photo to put a picture on a certificate.
• Photos: when you tap Choose Photo, the iPhone photo picker lets you pick one picture. The app gets only that picture, not access to your library.
• Notifications: only if you turn on the evening reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone; nothing is sent from a server.

It doesn't use your microphone, contacts, location or health data. The lock-screen widget, Control Center button and Siri shortcut only open the app.

Sharing

When you share, the app makes the certificate picture or video on your iPhone and hands it to the iPhone share sheet. If you tap Instagram Story or Facebook Story, it places the video on your clipboard for that app to pick up and opens it, which is how Meta's Story sharing works. Tiny Trumpets contains no Meta code and sends nothing to us. Whatever you share goes only where you choose to send it, and from there that service's own privacy policy applies.

Purchases

Apple handles the app purchase. We never see your name, payment details or Apple Account.

What we don't do

• No analytics, advertising or tracking code (SDKs)
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites
• No selling or sharing of personal information
• No account or sign-in

Crash reports

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. You control that setting.

Children

Tiny Trumpets isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
